Position Overview
The Vice President of Strategic Account Management will lead the engagement and relationship management for a portfolio of key provider customers at Datavant. This critical role focuses on ensuring the long-term success and retention of these accounts while driving revenue growth and executive engagement. Your leadership will help position Datavant as a trusted partner in the healthcare industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the health of relationships with assigned strategic accounts, ensuring retention and growth.
- Develop and implement strategic account plans that align with the goals of both Datavant and the customer.
- Engage with executives at customer organizations to reinforce Datavant’s role as a strategic partner.
- Identify and realize opportunities for increased value delivery across all assigned accounts.
- Collaborate cross-functionally within Datavant to align resources and support for client needs.
- Track and report on account performance metrics to ensure alignment with organizational targets.
- Lead a team of account managers, providing coaching and guidance to enhance their performance and professional growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in account management, business development, or client services, preferably in the healthcare sector.
- Proven track record of managing high-level strategic accounts, with demonstrated success in driving revenue growth.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of an organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess client needs and develop effective solutions.
- Leadership experience with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
