Responsibilities
- Provide expert consultation on food safety regulations, including FDA, GFSI, and USDA standards.
- Work with various clients to assess their food safety programs and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Conduct audits and evaluations of client facilities to identify food safety risks and recommend improvements.
- Develop and deliver training programs for client staff on food safety best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Stay updated on changes in food safety laws and industry standards to advise clients accordingly.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation for clients outlining findings and recommendations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a food safety consultant or similar role, with a strong knowledge of food safety regulations.
- Possess relevant certifications in food safety and sanitation.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Must be legally authorized to provide services in the United States and operate as an independent contractor.
