Responsibilities
- Lead the Deal Desk function to support commercial transactions by collaborating with Sales, Finance, Legal, Revenue Operations, Pricing, and Customer Success teams.
- Structure, review, and approve complex commercial agreements in alignment with company pricing and policies.
- Analyze deal structures and pricing models to ensure they meet business objectives and regulatory compliance.
- Provide guidance on negotiation strategies and serve as a key point of contact for deal-related queries.
- Monitor and report on deal performance metrics, identifying opportunities for process improvements.
- Train and mentor team members on best practices for deal structuring and pricing strategies.
- Continuously evaluate and update internal processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in deal desk management, sales operations, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of pricing strategies, commercial contracts, and regulatory requirements.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Proficient in CRM software and financial modeling tools.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience managing cross-functional teams.
