Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings, layouts, and multi-view drafts using AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
• Convert sketches, hand-drawn concepts, and architectural notes into precise digital drawings.
• Ensure all designs comply with fabrication limitations, construction standards, and project specifications.
• Maintain and continuously update the AutoCAD block library to enhance efficiency.
• Assist architects and engineers with estimating, plan takeoffs, crowdsourcing, bid preparation, and other pre-construction deliverables.
• Produce comprehensive planning reports and visual materials for client presentations.
• Record and track daily and weekly project updates and activities.

Requirements

• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
• Basic understanding of architectural and engineering principles.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A degree or certification in drafting, architecture, engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting.
• A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow in the field.
