Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable infrastructure solutions to support our educational technology products.
• Collaborate with software development teams to integrate CI/CD practices that enhance deployment efficiency and reliability.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and security of applications across multiple environments.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to system architecture, processes, and best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Actively participate in incident response and troubleshooting to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
• Evaluate and introduce new tools and technologies that align with our strategic goals.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Solid proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
• Experience with containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the capability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
