Business Development Manager for Communications and Growth

Sporty Group is seeking a talented and driven individual to take on the role of Business Development Manager, focusing on Communications and Growth Partnerships. Responsibilities

• Identify, negotiate, and manage marketing partnerships across Africa and Latin America to expand our reach and influence.
• Optimize the performance of communication channels including WhatsApp, SMS, and email, focusing on delivery rates, open rates, click-through rates, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure alignment in messaging, creative content, and campaigns tailored to specific markets.
• Plan and track regional activations and partnerships, which may include strategic billboard placements, payment partnership campaigns, and affiliate marketing initiatives.
• Measure return on investment (ROI) and overall performance across both owned and partner channels to ensure maximum effectiveness.
• Onboard new communication channel partners and manage existing Bulk SMS, email, and communication partners, focusing on cost optimization.

Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in growth, communications, or partnerships.
• Hands-on experience with messaging platforms and lifecycle marketing strategies.
• Exceptional commercial and negotiation skills with a proven track record.
• Experience working across multiple regions and cultures, demonstrating adaptability and cultural sensitivity.
