Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain a robust platform infrastructure utilizing Kubernetes.
• Automate and streamline operations and processes for the production environment.
• Act as a liaison between application teams and platform teams to ensure alignment and best practices.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation and security best practices.

• Participate in troubleshooting and resolving platform-related issues to maintain optimal performance.

Requirements

• Active Secret security clearance is required.
• Proven experience as a Platform Engineer or similar role, particularly with Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of system architecture and cloud technologies.
• Experience with automation tools and scripting languages.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
