Responsibilities

• Provide expert legal advice on commercial agreements, including partnerships, service agreements, and vendor contracts.
• Draft, negotiate, and review legal documents to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations across the EMEA region.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate legal risks associated with business operations.
• Stay updated on relevant legal trends and changes in regulations that may affect the company's operations in the EMEA region.
• Support the development and implementation of internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
• Advise on data protection and privacy laws to ensure organizational compliance.
• Represent the company in legal proceedings and negotiations as necessary.
• Train and educate staff on legal requirements and best practices.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent legal qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a commercial lawyer, preferably with a focus on EMEA markets.
• Strong understanding of commercial law, contract law, and compliance regulations.
• Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
• Experience working in a remote environment and managing international legal matters.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
