Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior Director of Fresh Grocery Operations to lead our Produce, Meat, and Seafood categories. This role is crucial as you will be the full P&L owner for one of our key business segments, reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Operations. Your leadership will be essential in driving the growth and profitability of our fresh grocery business while ensuring efficient execution from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic direction and execution of the fresh grocery category, focusing on Produce, Meat, and Seafood.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Merchandising, Field Operations, Pricing, Marketing, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless operations.
• Develop and implement effective category strategies that align with corporate objectives.
• Oversee vendor relations, manage pricing structures, and optimize in-store merchandising strategies.
• Ensure quality control standards are met across all fresh grocery categories.
• Design and execute strategic marketing programs to enhance category visibility and consumer engagement.
• Monitor and analyze market trends to identify growth opportunities and challenges.
• Manage and mentor a team to foster professional development and drive results.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in grocery operations, merchandising, or a related field, with a proven track record in leadership roles.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data into actionable strategies.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and vendor relationships.
• Proficiency in financial management and P&L oversight.
• A passion for fresh grocery categories and understanding of market dynamics.
