Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Mortgage Loan Officer (MLO) to join our dynamic legal team. This position offers remote work flexibility, with occasional travel to Charlotte required. As the Utah Lending Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting our business licensing functions while maintaining compliance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Utah Lending Manager license, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.
• Complete the required Continuing Education annually to keep your knowledge and skills up to date.
• Communicate effectively with the legal department and other stakeholders to ensure adherence to licensing standards.
• Assist in processing loan applications while ensuring all regulatory guidelines are met.
• Monitor and report on industry trends that may affect loan origination practices and compliance.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• No previous revocation of a loan originator license in any jurisdiction.
• Must not have any felony convictions related to fraud, dishonesty, or money laundering within the specified timeframes.
• Demonstrate financial responsibility and ethical conduct in all professional interactions.
• Possess an active Mortgage Loan Originator license.
• Prior experience in the mortgage industry is preferred but not mandatory.
