Responsibilities

• Assess and design a modern data platform to enhance Finance, Operations/Supply Chain, and Quality/Manufacturing processes.
• Engage in a 6-week discovery phase, dedicating approximately 30 hours per week to gather requirements and define scope.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of data architecture with business objectives.
• Implement solutions that drive efficiency and effectiveness across various departments.
• Provide architectural guidance and expertise in Azure technologies and best practices.
• Manage data integration and ensure data quality standards are met throughout the platform development process.
• Document technical specifications and deliver knowledge transfer sessions to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer, with a strong focus on Azure data services.
• Deep understanding of data architecture principles and methodologies.
• Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling.
• Proficiency in SQL and other programming languages relevant to data engineering.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment.
