Position Overview
The Talent Acquisition (TA) Business Partner for Growth and Capture is responsible for full-lifecycle recruiting, focusing on pre-award and proposal-stage hiring. This role collaborates closely with Capture Managers and Program Managers to build robust contingent-hire pipelines that support active bids and proposal submissions. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, adeptly sourcing, screening, and securing qualified candidates with clearance eligibility on tight timelines, ultimately enhancing the company’s competitive edge in new business ventures.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of recruiting for pre-award and proposal-stage positions.
- Partner with Capture Managers and Program Managers to develop effective hiring strategies.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for active bids.
- Source candidates through various channels, including online platforms and networking.
- Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and assess candidates’ qualifications.
- Coordinate and facilitate the interview process in collaboration with hiring managers.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations during the hiring process.
- Provide regular updates and reports on recruitment progress to stakeholders.
- Continuously improve the recruitment process by implementing best practices and innovative strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in talent acquisition, preferably in a government contracting environment.
- Strong understanding of the pre-award and proposal processes.
- Proficient in using applicant tracking systems and other recruitment tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
- Experience in sourcing candidates with security clearances is a plus.
