Responsibilities

• Utilize Automatic Prompt Generation (APG) tools to craft baseline prompts for intricate parent-child template clusters.
• Supervise the Automated Prompt Optimization (APO) tool, reviewing outputs and identifying when the APO encounters deadlocks or plateaus.
• Manually draft, test, and refine prompts to navigate complex template architectures, addressing anti-patterns and managing edge cases where tooling may fail.
• Design and optimize manual prompts to resolve edge-case scenarios effectively.
• Monitor shadowbot runs to ensure adequate discrepancies between human and LLM ratings are recorded, generated, and tracked.
• Drive the strategic direction of prompt engineering within the team and mentor junior engineers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of AI systems and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of our AI-driven solutions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in prompt engineering or a related field, preferably with a focus on AI and machine learning technologies.
• Strong understanding of Automatic Prompt Generation (APG) and Automated Prompt Optimization (APO) tools.
• Experience in managing and mentoring engineering teams, with a passion for guiding junior engineers.
• Ability to tackle complex problems and design effective solutions for unique scenarios.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate across various teams.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
