Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage security architectures to ensure the protection of sensitive data and systems.
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential threats to our systems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security practices into the development process.
• Monitor security incidents and respond to threats in a timely and effective manner.
• Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures in alignment with industry best practices.
• Provide guidance and training to engineering teams on security best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and technology advancements.
• Participate in security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Security Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of security protocols and technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of risk management frameworks and security standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
• Experience with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption methods.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.
• Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH) are a plus.
