Responsibilities
- Design and implement security measures to protect our applications from vulnerabilities and threats.
- Conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Monitor application security trends and provide guidance on best practices and emerging threats.
- Participate in the incident response process and assist in the resolution of security incidents.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in application security, with a strong understanding of secure coding practices.
- Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies such as SAST, DAST, and OWASP frameworks.
- Familiarity with cloud security concepts and technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
