Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and organization of scripts and storylines for HBO Max productions.
• Collaborate closely with writers and producers to ensure the smooth flow of creative processes.
• Conduct research to support script writing and character development.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for upcoming projects.
• Manage and track revisions to scripts, ensuring all changes are accurately documented.
• Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings and maintaining communication between departments.
• Attend production meetings and take notes to help facilitate project progression.
• Assist in the preparation of materials for pitch meetings and presentations.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Film, Television, Creative Writing, or a related field.
• Previous experience in a writers' room or similar environment is preferred.
• Strong writing skills with a keen understanding of storytelling techniques.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team setting.
• Proficient in using scriptwriting software and other relevant tools.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Passion for television and film, especially HBO Max's content.
