Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to visitors at state parks.
- Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of park facilities and grounds.
- Facilitate park programs and activities, including guided tours and educational workshops.
- Respond to visitor inquiries and provide park information.
- Ensure compliance with park rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of events and recreational activities.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to create a welcoming atmosphere for park guests.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in customer service or outdoor recreation is a plus.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving equipment.
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed.
- A passion for the outdoors and a desire to promote conservation efforts.
- First Aid and CPR certification is a plus but not required.
