Responsibilities
- Lead the development and management of carbon projects across various global regions, ensuring alignment with environmental goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and assess carbon offset opportunities, including reforestation and renewable energy initiatives.
- Monitor and report on project performance, ensuring transparency and adherence to regulations and standards.
- Engage with local communities and partners to foster relationships and enhance project impact.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to carbon management and climate initiatives.
- Prepare and present project proposals, reports, and updates to senior management and partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Project Management, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
- At least 5 years of experience in project management, particularly in environmental or sustainability projects.
- Strong understanding of carbon offset projects and climate change mitigation strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a remote setting.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
