Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the PEPFAR Health Assistance Unit, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication.
- Manage scheduling, correspondence, and documentation related to health programs.
- Assist in the preparation and organization of meetings, including logistics and material distribution.
- Maintain accurate records and databases, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Support the coordination of health initiatives, including data collection and reporting.
- Collaborate with team members and external stakeholders to facilitate program implementation.
- Handle inquiries and provide information to staff and outside organizations regarding health assistance resources.
Requirements
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience in administration, public health, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative support experience, preferably in a health-related environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with PEPFAR programs and knowledge of health assistance initiatives is a plus.
