Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of the Second Avenue Subway Phase 2 construction project from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders, including contractors, engineers, and city officials, to facilitate effective project execution.
• Develop and implement project management strategies and plans to meet project goals and objectives.
• Monitor project progress and conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Prepare and present progress reports to senior management and stakeholders, addressing any potential issues proactively.
• Manage project budgets and financials, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and effectively.
• Identify risks throughout the project lifecycle and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impacts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale construction projects, preferably in infrastructure or subway systems.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and project management methodologies.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) are a plus.
