Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Analytics Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will develop, maintain, and enhance predictive models and operational forecasts that are essential for effective claims demand and capacity planning. Your work will significantly contribute to our mission of protecting families while continuously improving our processes through data-driven insights.
Responsibilities
- Predictive Modeling and Forecasting: Design, build, and maintain medium- to high-complexity predictive models. Monitor model performance, and implement reruns and backfills as necessary to ensure accuracy.
- Workflow Development: Create and support Python-based workflows for operational forecasting, enhancing efficiency and accuracy in claims processing.
- Data Integrity: Ensure the integrity and consistency of data outputs while continuously seeking opportunities for automation and improvement in workflows.
- Data Visualization: Develop modernized data visualization tools to make complex datasets easier to interpret for stakeholders across the organization.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that data solutions meet the needs of the Claims Workflow organization and contribute to strategic decision-making.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for enhancement within existing processes and tools, proposing actionable solutions that leverage data analytics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in data analytics and predictive modeling, with strong proficiency in Python.
- Solid understanding of statistical methods and their application in real-world scenarios.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and business intelligence solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
