As a Technical Problem Solver Expert, you will play a vital role in leading the resolution of complex, high-impact technical issues. Utilizing structured methodologies such as Shainin Red X and Six Sigma, you will drive measurable improvements in quality, cost, and delivery. This position not only focuses on immediate problem-solving but also emphasizes the development of problem-solving capabilities throughout the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional teams in applying structured problem-solving methodologies like Shainin and Six Sigma.
  • Define project priorities to ensure effective use of resources and time.
  • Proactively identify potential roadblocks and devise solutions, escalating issues to the appropriate stakeholders when necessary.
  • Ensure adherence to problem-solving methodologies to maintain rigor and governance across the organization.
  • Coach and mentor Problem Solver Practitioners to enhance their skills and effectiveness.
  • Select high-impact projects across various plants or business units to maximize organizational benefits.
  • Report progress on projects to Senior Management, including updates on people development and cost savings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in technical problem-solving, particularly in high-impact environments.
  • Strong understanding of structured methodologies such as Shainin Red X, Six Sigma, or equivalent.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in project management and effective communication with all levels of the organization.
