Responsibilities

• Advise clients on a comprehensive range of banking, finance, treasury, and derivatives matters, providing commercially-focused legal guidance on lending, structured finance, cross-border transactions, and risk management activities.
• Prepare, review, negotiate, and manage complex financing and trading documentation, including loan agreements, security arrangements, ISDA documentation, collateral agreements, guarantees, and other transaction documents.
• Lead negotiations on financing and trading agreements, ensuring that clients' interests are protected while adhering to legal and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, including banks, investment firms, asset managers, and multinational corporations, to deliver effective legal strategies and solutions.
• Stay abreast of evolving financial regulations and industry trends to provide clients with timely advice on compliance and risk management.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support complex transactions and provide insights to clients on potential legal risks and opportunities.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with a strong background in banking, finance, and derivatives law.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a law firm or in-house legal department.
• Proven experience in handling complex financial transactions and a deep understanding of financial markets.
• Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
