Director of Career Services

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Career Services (DCS) to lead our comprehensive career planning and placement program. This role is pivotal in providing essential services to our students, alumni, community, and employers.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and evaluate a wide range of career services and placement initiatives.
• Formulate operational policies and ensure adherence to compliance standards as outlined by the Vice President of Compliance.
• Oversee the management of Career Counseling, Career Services, and Job Fair activities.
• Meet Completion and Placement objectives in line with ACCET standards.
• Collaborate with academic programs to enhance career services delivered to current students and graduates.
• Analyze and interpret data to inform decision-making and improve service delivery.
• Develop partnerships with local employers and community organizations to expand job placement opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of five years of experience in career services or a related field, with at least two years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of career development theories and job market trends.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with data analysis and reporting is a plus.
• Must reside in California to be considered for this remote position.
