Responsibilities

• Advise clients on a comprehensive range of financial services regulations, ensuring compliance with licensing and regulatory engagement.
• Address regulatory inquiries and provide expert legal advice on financial regulations relevant to Singapore and the APAC region, including guidelines set by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).
• Draft and review essential legal documentation, encompassing policies, contracts, and disclosures to ensure alignment with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including product, risk, and compliance departments, to effectively integrate regulatory requirements into business operations.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with 4 to 12+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE), specializing in payment and financial services regulatory matters.
• Experience working with financial institutions or law firms, demonstrating a strong understanding of the regulatory landscape.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
