Responsibilities
- Lead outsourced payroll operations supporting over 65,000 U.S. employees across multiple payroll entities, ensuring timely and accurate payroll delivery.
- Provide strategic oversight of payroll vendors, focusing on service performance, compliance, and identifying continuous improvement opportunities.
- Manage payroll configuration and process design within Workday Payroll, Time, and Absence systems, ensuring alignment with company pay policies and schedules.
- Guide payroll activities related to mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and year-end processing, while minimizing disruption and risk.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll tax, wage, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee payroll accounting activities including reconciliations, disbursements, garnishments, and unemployment services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in payroll management, with a strong understanding of U.S. payroll regulations.
- Experience with Workday Payroll or similar payroll software is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across various departments.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
