Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of emergency preparedness strategies.
• Support the analysis of data related to emergency situations and response effectiveness.
• Participate in meetings and workshops to contribute to the improvement of emergency preparedness initiatives.
• Conduct research on best practices in emergency preparedness and response.
• Help prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders and team members.
• Collaborate with other interns and staff to foster a supportive learning environment.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a graduate or undergraduate program in social sciences, international relations, disaster management, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in humanitarian work or emergency preparedness is preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
