Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on operations and maintenance, including all physical and administrative tasks necessary for the efficient operation of data center systems.
• Ensure compliance with all site processes and procedures to maintain the highest levels of uptime, efficiency, and safety without interrupting business operations.
• Accurately complete work order requests in a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) within designated timeframes.
• Develop and maintain a high level of technical knowledge regarding data center infrastructure and operations through continuous learning and training.
• Successfully complete personnel qualification standards (PQS) training to ensure expertise in critical facility operations.
• Provide technical expertise and assistance to team members and other departments as required.
• Respond promptly to data center facility emergencies following Meta's established procedures and emergency operating protocols.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment, buildings, safety routes, and grounds to identify and address any potential issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in facility operations, preferably within a data center environment.
• Strong understanding of critical facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in emergency situations.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a commitment to safety and quality.
