Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the strategic vision for the security risk program.
• Conduct comprehensive security risk assessments and modeling to identify, track, and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with various teams to integrate security practices into all aspects of the organization.
• Utilize industry best practices and emerging threat information to enhance risk identification and quantification.
• Analyze the potential impact of risks and develop strategies for effective risk management.
• Contribute to the development of security playbooks and facilitate security training initiatives.
• Support the resilience and robustness of Canonical’s products to protect against cyber threats.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in security risk management or cybersecurity roles.
• Strong knowledge of security risk assessment methodologies and tools.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
• Professional certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or similar) are a plus.
