Responsibilities

• Design and implement optimal integration of Ubuntu for the latest IoT and server-class hardware platforms.
• Collaborate with partners to ensure a high-quality, optimized Ubuntu experience on their platforms.
• Adopt a comprehensive approach to enhancing the Ubuntu experience on partner platforms, contributing to technical plans, testing strategies, and quality metrics.
• Serve as the technical lead on complex customer engagements that involve complete system architectures, from cloud to edge.
• Assist customers in integrating their applications, SDKs, and building device OS images, optimizing applications using Ubuntu.
• Work collaboratively with specialized engineers from leading silicon companies to incorporate next-generation features and performance enhancements.
• Engage in fast-paced problem-solving to deliver diverse solutions across PC and IoT technologies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in embedded and desktop Linux system development.
• Strong understanding of Linux kernel and GUI optimization techniques.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and resourcefulness in troubleshooting technical issues.
• Strong communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical information clearly.
• Experience working with IoT technologies and hardware integration.
