Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Node.js, TypeScript, and SQL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features that enhance user experience.
• Implement and optimize service-oriented and event-driven architectures for high availability and performance.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and participate in pair programming sessions to foster learning and collaboration.
• Analyze and improve system performance, reliability, and security.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to enhance functionality and user satisfaction.
• Contribute to the overall architecture and best practices of the engineering team.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our platform remains competitive.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Software Engineer with a strong focus on backend development.
• Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and SQL; familiarity with additional languages is a plus.
• Experience with service-oriented and event-driven architectures.
• Strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in agile development teams is preferred.
