Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of business strategies to establish partnerships with health plans and increase access to mental health services.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities while fostering existing relationships with health care providers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance service offerings and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making.
• Develop and present compelling business proposals to potential partners.
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of implemented strategies and adjust as necessary to meet performance targets.
• Promote the value of BetterHelp’s services to stakeholders and advocate for mental health initiatives.
• Manage a team of business development professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve team objectives.

Requirements

• Proven experience in business development or sales within the healthcare or mental health sector.
• Strong understanding of health plan operations and mental health service delivery.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in leading teams and managing projects to successful completion.
• Passion for improving access to mental health care and a commitment to the mission of BetterHelp.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
