Responsibilities

  • Lead the credentialing process for mental health professionals, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Oversee the onboarding of new therapists, including verification of qualifications and licenses.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline credentialing workflows and improve operational efficiency.
  • Manage a team of credentialing specialists, providing guidance and support to foster professional growth.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills of the credentialing team.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of team members, providing constructive feedback to optimize productivity.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our credentialing database.
  • Stay informed about changes in regulations and best practices in credentialing for mental health professionals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; a background in healthcare or mental health is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in credentialing or a related field.
  • Proven leadership experience, with a track record of managing teams effectively.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and credentialing processes.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with credentialing software and electronic health record systems is a plus.
  • A passion for mental health and a commitment to improving access to care.
