Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing financial statements in compliance with U.S. GAAP.
- Support the team in the preparation and filing of tax returns.
- Engage with clients to gather necessary financial information and documentation.
- Help maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records for diverse clients across various industries.
- Participate in audits and assist in preparing audit documentation.
- Contribute to the payroll processing and ensure compliance with payroll regulations.
- Collaborate with senior accountants to identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Stay updated with changes in tax legislation and accounting standards to provide accurate advice to clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in accounting software and MS Office applications.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Prior experience in accounting or finance internships is a plus.
- Driven and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
