Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, analysts, and data scientists, to design and curate data sets from internal and external sources.
• Develop and optimize data pipelines to ensure efficient data flow and accessibility for analytics and machine learning initiatives.
• Implement best practices for data governance and quality assurance to maintain the integrity of data used in decision-making processes.
• Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that will drive business strategies and operational improvements.
• Support the development of advanced analytics and machine learning models by providing clean, structured, and high-quality data.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continually enhance data engineering practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related role, preferably within a collaborative team environment.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala, and experience with data warehousing solutions like AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Snowflake.
• Strong understanding of ETL processes and data modeling techniques.
• Experience with big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, or similar frameworks.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems and communicate insights effectively.
