We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in building and operating Upbound Spaces, our multiple control plane management software that serves as the backbone of the Upbound Platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance our platform's capabilities and ensure seamless operations. Your expertise will help us scale Upbound and prepare for future advancements in the AI-native enterprise landscape.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Upbound Spaces management software.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define software requirements and specifications.
• Implement scalable, reliable, and performant solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Identify and resolve complex software issues and bottlenecks in the system.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in software engineering.
• Contribute to the documentation of software architecture and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development, preferably in cloud infrastructure or similar domains.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Python, or Java.
• Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
