Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and support within a clinical environment.
- Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families regarding health management and disease prevention.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulations.
- Participate in the training and mentoring of new nursing staff.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Requirements
- Active nursing license in the state of Tennessee.
- Associate’s degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Previous clinical experience in a healthcare setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to work effectively within a diverse team environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is a plus.
