Responsibilities
- Manage urgent air travel arrangements outside of business hours for shipboard officers, crew members, guest entertainers, vendors, contractors, and shoreside employees, particularly in cases of unforeseen disruptions.
- Provide outstanding customer service to cruise guests facing travel plan disruptions or requiring immediate flight assistance to embark on their cruise or return home post-cruise.
- Oversee hotel and ground transportation arrangements for shipboard personnel and entertainers, ensuring efficient communication and coordination of travel logistics.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure a seamless travel experience for all parties involved.
- Utilize travel management systems effectively to track and manage reservations and changes.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in hospitality or travel management is a plus.
- Proven experience in customer service, preferably in the travel industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong ability to resolve issues promptly.
- Ability to work independently and make quick decisions under pressure.
- Familiarity with travel booking systems and processes is an advantage.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
