Responsibilities

  • Address and resolve unresolved inquiries and issues related to payments.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain organizational policies regarding collection practices.
  • Collaborate with outside legal counsel or agencies for complex collection cases.
  • Maintain accurate records of communications and actions taken regarding collection efforts.
  • Provide excellent customer service while managing sensitive financial information.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in finance or related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a collections or financial role.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with customers.
  • Ability to negotiate and handle difficult conversations professionally.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
  • Proficiency in using standard office software and customer management systems.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting performance targets.
