Responsibilities

• End-to-End Test Automation: Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive automated E2E test suites that replicate real-world enterprise workflows on the Actian Data Intelligence Platform.
• Production Resilience Testing: Create automated tests to assess the platform’s stability, load capacity, and recovery capabilities under stress or failure situations.
• Pipeline Integration: Integrate your automated tests into our deployment pipelines to ensure they run seamlessly during every release cycle.
• Defect Identification: Proactively identify and report defects in complex distributed systems, ensuring edge cases are addressed before they impact customers.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers and product managers to refine testing requirements and enhance overall product quality.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest trends in automation tools and best practices, and contribute to process improvements within the QA team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in QA automation, with a strong focus on E2E testing frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or similar.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset in identifying potential system issues.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
