Responsibilities

• Design, scale, and maintain a robust testing infrastructure that supports end-to-end testing of the Actian Data Intelligence Platform.
• Lead the development and execution of automated tests to ensure the platform's reliability and performance.
• Integrate automated test suites within CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Guide and mentor a team of automation engineers to foster a culture of quality and excellence in testing.
• Utilize data-driven metrics to identify and resolve potential regressions before they impact production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and translate them into test strategies.
• Advocate for best practices in testing and automation, ensuring the implementation of industry standards.
• Continuously evaluate new testing tools and technologies to enhance the automation framework.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a QA Automation Lead role or similar, with a strong background in automated testing.
• Deep understanding of SaaS and distributed data architectures.
• Expertise in programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and processes, specifically GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for quality assurance.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities to guide and inspire a team.
• Familiarity with data-driven testing methodologies is a plus.
