Responsibilities

• Provide legal support to HR functions and advise on employment-related legal matters.
• Offer subject matter expertise on employment law across the APAC region, addressing areas such as employee relations, workplace policies, terminations, and compliance with labor laws.
• Draft, review, and negotiate employment contracts, severance agreements, and other employment-related documents.
• Assist in the resolution of employment disputes to foster a positive workplace environment.
• Collaborate with HR and management to develop and implement effective workplace policies and procedures.
• Provide guidance on best practices for employee performance management, disciplinary actions, and workplace investigations.

Requirements

• A qualified lawyer with a minimum of 2 years of experience in employment law, ideally from corporate, financial institutions, or law firms.
• In-depth knowledge of employment law within the APAC region.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and build effective relationships with clients and team members.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and risk management in employment-related issues.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
