Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Customer and Sector Insights Lead for the Mining sector. This global strategic role focuses on driving growth in designated market sectors while emphasizing the capture and dissemination of customer insights. Reporting directly to the Customer & Market Insights Manager, you will be integral to our team, working on initiatives that align with our strategic objectives to foster revenue growth and sustain contribution margins.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer insights and market intelligence within the mining sector.
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate insights into product development and marketing strategies.
• Engage directly with customers to gather feedback and enhance understanding of their needs and preferences.
• Prepare and present insights and strategies to senior management and other stakeholders.
• Travel globally (up to 50%) to meet with clients and attend industry events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Data Science, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in a customer insights or market analysis role, preferably within the mining industry.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to travel globally as needed.
