Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Manager to lead our Catalog team at the forefront of our AI transformation. This crucial role requires a hands-on leader who can inspire and guide a team of talented engineers while actively contributing to the development process. As the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing our product catalog platform, ensuring timely delivery of features, and establishing AI-native development practices that set the standard across our engineering organization.

Responsibilities

• Own sprint planning, delivery commitments, and retrospectives for the Catalog team.
• Maintain an active individual contributor (IC) role by writing, reviewing, and deploying full-stack production code weekly, utilizing AI-assisted tools.
• Collaborate with the Principal Engineer to set architectural direction and define the platform roadmap.
• Lead recruitment efforts to hire and onboard engineers, ensuring a high standard of AI-native skills during the interview process.
• Foster cross-team collaboration with product managers to align development efforts with organizational goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a managerial role within software engineering, preferably in an AI-focused environment.
• Strong proficiency in full-stack development with experience in modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture.
