Responsibilities

• Define and own the mobile platform architecture, including platform choices, app structure, shared component strategy, and the decision between native and cross-platform development.
• Lead the technical scoping and execution of mobile modernization efforts, collaborating closely with the Mobile Engineering Manager and cross-functional partners.
• Act as a hands-on contributor by writing production mobile code, building proofs of concept, and validating architectural decisions through functional software.
• Resolve complex architectural challenges and set a high standard for AI-native engineering practices within the mobile team.
• Collaborate with peer Principals, Engineering Managers, and VPs across the organization to ensure alignment and integration of mobile strategies with overall company objectives.
• Continuously evaluate new technologies and methodologies to enhance mobile development processes and improve user experiences for millions of customers globally.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in mobile application development for both iOS and Android platforms.
• Strong expertise in architecture design, software development lifecycle, and modern programming languages.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities in a technical capacity, with experience guiding teams through complex projects.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
