About the Role

We are seeking a talented Sales Engineer to join our Enterprise Sales team at Halter. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with some of the largest and most influential farming businesses across Australia and New Zealand. You will not be confined to a traditional pre-sales engineering position; instead, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor to progressive agricultural organizations. Your expertise will guide them in overcoming complex operational challenges.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key technical advisor for enterprise clients, understanding their unique needs and challenges.
• Develop and implement enterprise roll-out strategies that align with client goals.
• Validate technical solutions and ensure they meet customer requirements.
• Collaborate with the sales team to present tailored solutions that address client pain points.
• Influence the future direction of our product through feedback and insights gathered from client interactions.
• Provide training and support to clients post-implementation to ensure successful adoption of our solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a sales engineering or technical sales role, preferably within the agricultural sector.
• Strong understanding of enterprise-level agricultural solutions and operational processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and think strategically.
• Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and stakeholders.
