About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Detection Engineering & Response Lead to establish and oversee our Detection & Response (D&R) capabilities. This pivotal role will involve owning the detection engineering, threat intelligence, and incident response functions across our cloud platform. You will lead a small but dynamic team of analysts and engineers, driving innovation in cybersecurity and ensuring the safety of our infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement detection engineering processes and frameworks.
- Oversee threat intelligence initiatives to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Lead incident response activities, managing complex security incidents and conducting thorough forensics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security protocols and practices.

- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies to proactively implement necessary changes.
- Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders on security posture and incident response outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on detection engineering and incident response.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks, incident response methodologies, and threat intelligence tools.
- Experience leading teams and managing complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are highly desirable.
