Responsibilities

• Become the engineering anchor of your initiative, collaborating closely with a Product Manager and Designer to deliver high-quality products.
• Engage with a small, focused team to drive the development of features that enhance our home service offerings.
• Utilize AI coding agents to increase efficiency and quality in your work, ensuring timely delivery of projects.
• Contribute to the shared codebase while maintaining a focus on team ownership of project outcomes.
• Work alongside engineering peers to align initiatives and share best practices for development.
• Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and improvement.
• Continuously analyze product performance metrics and user feedback to refine and innovate solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience as a Product Engineer or in a similar role, preferably in a marketplace environment.
• Strong proficiency in software development languages and frameworks relevant to our tech stack.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and an understanding of product management principles.
• Ability to work in a remote environment, demonstrating self-motivation and excellent communication skills.
• A passion for ownership and delivering high-quality solutions to real-world problems.
• Familiarity with the home services industry is a plus, but not mandatory.
