About the Role

As a Lead iOS Engineer, you will be at the forefront of our iOS platform's technical direction. You will set engineering standards, mentor a talented team of engineers, and remain hands-on with coding to ensure our applications are user-friendly and high-performing. This role is essential in driving architectural decisions, ensuring scalability, and collaborating with product and cross-functional leadership to define the mobile roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the technical vision, architecture, and long-term roadmap for the iOS platform.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of iOS engineers; establish and uphold coding standards and review practices.
• Make high-impact architectural decisions and drive modularization and scalability initiatives throughout the codebase.
• Own the Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) strategy, ensuring release management and deployment reliability.
• Partner with product and design leadership to translate business goals into actionable mobile development strategies.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our iOS applications remain cutting-edge.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an iOS Engineer, with a strong portfolio of applications developed on iOS.
• Extensive knowledge of Swift and Objective-C programming languages.
• Experience with architectural patterns such as MVC, MVVM, or VIPER.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and third-party libraries integration.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Excellent leadership and mentoring skills, with a passion for developing other engineers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
