Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of offensive security initiatives, including penetration testing and red team engagements.
  • Design and implement adversarial simulations to assess the security posture of Nebius' cloud platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities in our infrastructure.
  • Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments to prioritize security efforts and enhance overall defenses.
  • Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, attack vectors, and tools to continuously improve our offensive security strategies.
  • Train and mentor junior security team members, fostering a culture of security awareness and proactive defense.
  • Report security findings to leadership and provide actionable recommendations for remediation.
  • Work closely with the incident response team to simulate real-world attack scenarios and improve response strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in offensive security roles, with a proven track record in penetration testing and red teaming.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security principles and experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Proficient in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) and security tools (Metasploit, Burp Suite, etc.).
  • Certifications such as OSCP, OSCE, or similar are highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think like an adversary.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
